Aims and objectives

WREN aims to:

• promote the recognition, conservation and enhancement of urban bushland, natural heritage and green spaces, and
• provide a forum and support to local groups.

We encourage all concerned residents/ groups to support and affiliate with ÒWRENÓ whose objectives are not only to act as an umbrella organisation for existing groups in the western region and to actively support their objectives but also to align itself with the Urban Bushland Council.

We are anxious that all councils promote and develop environmentally friendly policies and objectives that improve and sustain urban fauna and flora throughout the western region and we encourage all Councils to support and strengthen these objectives. Currently we see continued threats to flora and fauna in many localities which includes parks, recreation areas, bushland, street trees and private land.

Rules of association

At present, WREN is not an incorporated association, and has no formal rules of association. These may be developed in the coming year.
